IT Manager and Security Officer

Normandeau Associates, Inc., an employee-owned environmental consulting firm specializing in natural resources management, is seeking an IT Manager and Security Officer in our Bedford, NH office. Responsibilities include developing reliable metrics for hardware, software and storage while ensuring strategic capacity planning; monitor and review all financial data related to IT equipment and software licensing; communicate clearly with administrative and technical staff as well as IT staff and vendors; oversee the operation and planning of server, network, backup and storage systems; identify security vulnerabilities and eliminate them with strategic solutions that ensure the protection of all corporate data; direct and support implementation of software and hardware upgrades; identify and recommend new technology solutions that will improve and strengthen the overall integrity of the infrastructure; manage, direct and participate in the company help desk process.

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or network infrastructure with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing and mentoring technical staff. Any combination of Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Storage or Networking certification is highly desirable. Must be able to adjust to changing priorities and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
