Pam Hall Receives BIA Lifetime Achievement Award

Bedford, NH — Normandeau CEO and Board Chair Pam Hall received a Lifetime Achievement award from the New Hampshire Business and Industry Association, New Hampshire's Statewide Chamber of Commerce. The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes business leaders who have demonstrated a commitment to leadership in their professions, communities, and New Hampshire. Award recipients help shape their communities and the state through successful business endeavors, active participation in civic organizations, involvement in boards, and service to local and state government.

The Award recognizes Pam's contributions to New Hampshire and her work at Normandeau, where she first began her career in 1971 as a marine scientist when Normandeau Associates was a small, start-up firm in the fledgling environmental consulting industry. When the firm was sold to Thermo Electron in 1987, Pam became president of the company, making her one of the few female executives in the environmental consulting industry. When Thermo divested in 2000, Pam led the effort to acquire Normandeau and make it an employee-owned company. Pam has given her time to many nonprofits, including the NHBIA, Environmental Business Council of New England, the Seacoast Science Center, Volunteer NH, the Land and Community Heritage Commission, and the NH Chapter of The Nature Conservancy.
